Situation:
The broker approached us to help secure a mortgage for their clients’ son, as he made the move to London to begin his career.
Challenge:
The clients’ son found the perfect property, but needed to secure it before he started his new job. With no means to fund the purchase alone, his parents were keen to support.
Solution:
We were able to work closely with the broker and client to understand in more detail how the family would be able to afford the property. By taking into account the parents’ financial situation, we were able to include them on the application and agree £292k against a property value of £385k. Although another provider was able to offer a similar solution, it was our relationship approach that clinched it for the family.
