A word from the Branch Manager, Michelle
"Here at North Cumbria branch our aspiration is to be the “best bank in town,” with customer satisfaction being the driver for all that we do. Our focus is to build lasting relationships and deliver the best customer service by getting to know our customers personally so that we can support them and their families.
Our decentralised operating model, which is an integral part of the Handelsbanken culture, means that our people are empowered to make decisions. We are passionate about building local relationships and our customers enjoy dealing directly with the people in the branch, and with people that know them and their family.
Our culture handbook states “Our advice must always be what is best for the customer, not what is most profitable for the Bank at the time.” At North Cumbria we use the lasting relationships we build with our customers to focus on their needs and provide a high level of customer service to meet their banking requirements.
