Our culture nurtures a spirit of respect for colleagues and customers and a collaborative way of working. 50 years ago Jan Wallander, our CEO at the time, set out our unique culture and way of working, and we have been guided by this principle ever since.
Our single-minded focus on customer needs throughout the organisation means we have some clear differences in our working practices from many other providers. At the Bank, we don’t have sales targets, product campaigns or short-term annual bonuses, freeing us to do what’s right for the customer every time. Employees participate in a long-term profit sharing scheme whereby colleagues benefit from sustainable growth in the Bank.
Staying true to our Swedish roots, there's always a Fika happening somewhere. A tradition of having a coffee, cake and catch up, they can often lead to some of our best ideas.
