How to make a Swift payment
Online
Log in to online banking or the app and follow the prompts from the ‘Payments and transfers’ menu.
Branch
Make payments through your branch by contacting your account manager*.
Customer Connect
Speak to a member of our Customer Connect team for help making payments*.

To make a Swift payment, we’ll need to know your payee's:
- Full name (or company name) and address
- IBAN (International Bank Account Number) or account number
- Name and address of the payee's bank, including their bank's Swift/BIC (Bank identifier Code) code
How to receive a Swift payment
To receive a Swift payment, you should give your payer:
- Your full name (or company name) and address
- Your account’s IBAN number instead of your usual account number. You can find your IBAN on your bank statements
- Handelsbanken’s Swift/BIC code is HANDGB22
